Description

A stones throw away from the University Campus. Seven furnished studio rooms in a 1930s Arts & Crafts bungalow on the edge of Prospect Park and the city's green belt. This substantial two storey brick home is situated in a park-like setting. Two bedrooms open onto a private balcony with campus and city views.

Location

146 Queen Street, Dunedin.
Nestled between the city’s green belt and George Street, this property is less than a ten minute walk to the University of Otago campus. Dunedin North takeaways, a bakery and the Garden’s New World supermarket are also nearby. In the other direction a short uphill walk will get you to the Maori Hill and No. 7 Balmac cafe, one of our favourite hang-outs. Great views of Otago Harbour, Forsyth Barr Stadium and Campus from the balcomy.

I have been flatting for nearly 10 years, and 146 Queen Street is definitely one of the best studio rooms I have lived at. It is spacious, has a nice view of the city, is warm and reasonably priced. The neighbours are friendly, the landlord is great and the property managers are very rapid to respond to any issues. I've stayed here for four years already and I'm looking forward to my fifth!
